Wolford School

The House of Yore, the original Wolford School building, has become an example of a 1900's farm house and was moved to the museum in 1988. The furniture & amenities are mostly the original items from the home of Dale & Martha Hawk. The display includes everything from her crocheted doilies and plush living room set to Martha's piano and China dinnerware.

In addition to their own personal items from their home, friends of the neighborhood have donated items to complete the display which portrays a North Dakota farm home.

 

Not only does the building display their home furnishings, the Wolford Barber Shop display is inside the front door and to the right! It is equipped with everything the gentleman were accustomed to at the time.
